Where has the year gone?

It all started with a visit to ‘A’ listers, and being invited centre stage to address ISSBA members for the very first time to tell them all about Suffolk Mind, our mission and valuable services for the whole County and I knew from that moment on, it was going to be a lovely partnership.

Our team have been all over with ISSBA since then, we had lively event down at Suffolk New College where I shared a stage of wonderful speakers, to name a few, the spirited Charlotte Giddings from Brownie and the Bean and Dan Cocksedge with his two hats on for Coop Juniors and Switch Direction, a fantastic tour around the fabulous and newly restored and improved River Hills Spa, and then most recently our visit to the Alann Gardiner where we were met with a warm and friendly welcome.

Finishing with the celebrated Anglia Business Expo, where we find a meeting of all sorts of local businesses sharing their services and the occasional ‘puppy’. Thank you to the generous donations from the raffle, raising £730 which could help run our essential Helpline for a whole week (answering as many as 350 calls for help) as well as fund four life changing counselling sessions.

I have thoroughly enjoyed our partnership and have forged some dear friendships along the way.

As we hand over to the next charity, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the whole ISSBA team and its members for their support and donations.
