Suffolk Mind have had a busy summer, with our services ever more in need, as the figures above demonstrate.

Given fundraising is so vital to service delivery, we have also enjoyed a busy couple of months connecting with donors and supporters. Part of this has included coming along to talk at the July ISSBA networking event, where we received such a warm welcome – thank you.

We have also just enjoyed our second annual gala, which welcomed over 100 guests and raised more than £23,000 for our vital services in Suffolk, and are already in the full swing of arranging our Diamond Ball for 2025. We would love to see ISSBA members there.

If an evening of glamour, Big Band music, fabulous dining and entertainment appeals, then please do consider joining us on 27 June 2025. Every ticket sold contributes towards our fundraising, and there will of course be more opportunities to donate on the night itself too.

We are also busy looking ahead to our first mass-participation ‘Colour Rush’ fun run on 5 October 2024, at Trinity Park. While tickets are already sold out, if you’d like to share in this colourful event, we are in desperate need of volunteers to help us steward our runners and to douse our runners in colourful powder, at one of our seven colour stations.

Finally, despite the beautiful sunny weather, our thoughts have already turned to Christmas, and our winter giving campaign. Our hopes this year are to raise enough funds through this campaign, to support the running of our vital Suffolk Mind Helpline service throughout 2025. 

We look forward to providing updates of the campaign over the coming months.  However, if you are a business interested in making a donation of over £100 to Suffolk Mind this year, we would urge you to consider becoming one of our Campaign Pledgers.
