Hello all. Welcome to our October newsletter, I hope you are all keeping well. It has been a busy few months at ISSBA so we have lots to update you on.
Anglia Business Exhibition took place (finally!) on 7th September at Trinity Park and it was amazing to see so many of you there. Thank you to everyone that took part or attended, there was a lovely atmosphere and it was clear that everyone was enjoying the day with some fantastic feedback.
Booking is now open for ABE2022 so read this month’s update here. Bookings have already been coming in fast so make sure you book soon as it looks like stands will sell quickly this year. Our next event is an Online Networking Event on 3rd November and we are delighted to welcome Emma Swan from Thrive Safe as our guest speaker. This is a free event and you don’t need to be an ISSBA member to attend so book your place now!
Each quarter, ISSBA committee member, Elizabeth Clazie from Gotelee Solicitors LLP, will be sharing important legal news and updates exclusively to ISSBA members. As a taster though, Liz has written this month’s business focus piece titled ‘Your Duty of Care as a Professional Adviser’.
Our October Member of the Month is Petaurum HR who have some very exciting news to share. Congratulations from all at ISSBA.

We do still have a couple of spots available on the ISSBA committee so let us know on mail@issba.co.uk if you are interested. We are a friendly bunch and usually meet once per month (via Zoom currently!). As well as having a say in how the organisation is run, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your profile in the local area. Get in touch if you’d like to know more.
Don’t forget our Recommend a Friend scheme, it is great to see ISSBA members benefiting from this.
