Menta, the Suffolk Enterprise Agency, provides advice, training and networking for businesses and start-ups in Suffolk. It is showcasing the offerings and talents of fledgling businesses in the adjacent Trinity Rooms.

Kim Brown of Boleyn Events, organisers of the event, said: “This exhibition is now an established date in the Suffolk business calendar. In these tough economic conditions, people recognise the importance of demonstrating what they can do, getting out and meeting other businesses and developing contacts. Booking levels are as strong as they have ever been.”

ISSBA chairman, Roger Barcham of BMS Imaging, said: “When times get tough, it’s good to know who your friends are! Many of our sponsors have been supporting us for many years now and we’re delighted to welcome new ones to join us.”

John Dugmore of Suffolk Chamber added: “We’ve been involved this event for several years now and each time we work hard to offer something new for exhibitors and visitors. Our theme this year is on finding new business opportunities, so it’s gratifying to see just how much interest has been shown from all quarters. We’re delighted at the support we’ve received from sponsors, some of whom are new to the exhibition and Menta’s involvement helps us reach new audiences.”

The exhibition is open between 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm. It is free to attend and open to all.

Exhibitors in the Conference Centre need to be members of either ISSBA or Suffolk Chamber of Commerce. Stands in the adjacent Trinity Rooms are open to start ups and businesses less than two years old. Exhibitors there are not required to be members of either organisation.
