There’s a lot going on in Stowmarket – but how much do you know about it?  It’s worth finding out, because there’s plenty of good news to share.

Join us at Bounce Back for Business, and you could learn something to your advantage.  As well as meeting people – and businesses – you’ve never seen before.  Having a bit of fun.  And even getting the chance to win prizes.

For example, did you know that a young software developer based in Stowmarket has built the technology for a ‘virtual high street’?  Which is about to launch in Stowmarket?  Join us for a live interview with Mid Suffolk District Council’s Economic Development and Regeneration Unit as they talk about the project, what it involves, and how it will benefit the existing high street retailers.

How does the e-vent work?

There are two strands to the e-vent. The website itself will be open 24/7 throughout the week of the e-vent so visitors can check out all the featured businesses. And the live sessions, delivered via Zoom, will feature presentations on local and business topics, open networking, and the opportunity to meet and chat with the businesses showcased on the site.

How will visitors learn about featured businesses?

To encourage some truly active browsing the Chamber have put together a fun quiz that can only be answered by checking out the details of all the featured businesses – and the first two all-correct answer sheets out of the hat will be sent a generous bag of goodies, provided by those same businesses. (No surprise that ISSBA and Stow Chamber member Bob Scott has donated a pack of his superb Niche Cocktails – so the competition is sure to be fierce…)

What will happen in the live sessions?

These will be spread over the three days, at a different time each day. It means visitors can choose a time that suits them best, booking their free place via Eventbrite.  Each session features two live talks,  delivered as chat-show style interviews. There’ll also be informal networking – the perfect opportunity to make contact with other local businesses, and to meet potential customers and clients. Check the Bounce Back for Business website at for the latest info.

And finally, huge thanks to ISSBA who are one of the Sponsors for the Stowmarket Chamber Bounce Back for Business!
