Charity of the year update - April 2021

Find out the latest news from ISSBA’s Charity of the Year – Jetty Lane

As many of you will know, Jetty Lane received a large donation last year from Eric Reynolds of Woodbridge Boat Yard (formerly Everson & Sons). The donation was so large it arrived on two trailers and had to be craned into place! The two temporary buildings have been constructed out of recycled shipping containers and have wonderful porthole windows. They're on the Jetty Lane site, not far from our neighbours at the Boat Yard who are just on the other side of the railway line. Now the containers have been refurbished and have heating and lighting and we are (almost) ready for our first tenants to move in.

Container Projects will be moving into one of the temporary buildings and meanwhile they are launching their first project, 'Me Time'. They are offering free creative online weekly sessions for new parents. They're a new creative resource for the community in and around Woodbridge and we're excited to have them on board. More details can be found on their website or download the poster here

With best wishes for a sunny springtime,

from all of us at Jetty Lane
