Don't miss ISSBA's next event on Wednesday 29th February at 6pm. In the Hotseat is a 'Question Time' style event giving you the opportunity to grill our panel of experts from the world of banking, finance, pensions and insurance.
Confirmed speakers include Steve Branney, RBS’s Director of Business and Commercial Banking in Suffolk, Katy Ford, Chief Executive of Foundation East – a not for profit organisation that makes loans to small businesses, Ian Bell, Sales Director of Willis Commercial, Tim Mulley from Scrutton Bland and other well-known names from the region’s Finance sector.

The FSB organised a meeting between local MPs and the major banks in Mundford on 13th January.
This was a very interesting meeting with the Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Chloe Smith, giving an overview of the British economy and a summary of the coalition government’s policies to help encourage small and medium sized businesses. The local MPs each gave an overview of the problems experienced by their constituents. Senior representatives of the major banks summarised the current approach of their respective organisations.
The meeting ended with a question and answer session where members of the audience addressed specific issues to the panel. For more details of the meeting, see the pdf above.
